Job Summary

This role involves understanding business needs, software requirements, and data architectures from various stakeholders. The successful candidate will build and maintain technical projects, software source code, and data solutions using technologies like ETL, DW/DM, BI, Big Data, MDM, Data Quality, and Analytics. They will also guide team members and contribute to the development team by planning, estimating, and completing backlog items within sprints, while proactively identifying risks.

Must Have

  • Understand business needs, software requirements, and data architectures.
  • Build and maintain technical projects, software source code, and data solutions (dashboards, reports, analytical databases, master data).
  • Work with ETL, DW/DM, BI, Big Data, MDM, Data Quality, and Analytics technologies.
  • Guide team members on software and data solutions.
  • Plan, estimate, and complete backlog items in sprints.
  • Identify and signal risks, idleness, and technical impediments.
  • Higher education degree in Information Technology (minimum 360 hours) OR any higher education degree with a Postgraduate degree (specialization, master's or doctorate) in Information Technology (minimum 360 hours).
  • 2 to 4 years of experience.

Good to Have

  • CSD – Certified Scrum Developer certification.
  • PSD – Professional Scrum Developer certification.

Job Description

What success looks like in this role:

a) Obtain understanding of business needs and software requirements and architectures, data architectures and structures, testing strategies and other inputs from Product Owners, Business Analysts, Requirements Analysts, Software/Solutions Architects, Data Architects and Database Analysts.

b) Build and maintain the technical project (e.g., diagrams, flows and interfaces), the software source code, data solutions (e.g., management or monitoring dashboards, reports, analytical databases, master data) and other artifacts of the analysis and design, implementation and testing disciplines focused on ETL, DW/DM, BI, Big Data, MDM, Data Quality and Analytics technologies, according to the current methodology.

c) Guide team members on understanding the software and implemented data solutions and their relationship with the software's requirements and data structures.

d) Compose the development team, taking on, planning, estimating and meeting backlog work items each sprint, promptly signaling risks of delay, idleness and technical impediments.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Desirable certifications:

a) CSD – Certified Scrum Developer.

b) PSD – Professional Scrum Developer.

Higher education degree in Information Technology, minimum 360 hours.

Any higher education degree accompanied by a Postgraduate degree (specialization, master's or doctorate) in Information Technology, minimum 360 hours.

Between 2 and 4 years of experience
