Job Summary

The Commerce Strategy Intern will support the Commerce leadership team at Condé Nast, reporting to the VP of Commerce, Lifestyle. This 10-week summer internship involves owning key strategic projects to scope future growth initiatives in commerce, contributing to long-range planning, business modeling, and market intelligence. The intern will work closely with various stakeholders to identify innovative models, research emerging e-commerce trends, and develop scalable solutions to drive revenue growth.

Must Have

  • Rising senior graduating in 2027
  • Ability to work out of our 1 WTC office on a hybrid basis (4x a week on site)
  • Available June 8, 2026 - August 14, 2026
  • Motivated self-starter passionate about the intersection of content and commerce
  • Work on key strategic projects that inform the multi-year Long-Range Plan
  • Build robust financial models and business cases
  • Map out cross-functional dependencies
  • Identify and vet new innovative models and strategic partnership opportunities
  • Research relevant emerging e-commerce and technology trends
  • Competitor benchmark and scope solutions
  • Develop scalable solutions to grow commerce with a positive ROI

Program Details:

We are seeking rising college seniors who are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree to join an exciting 10-week summer internship experience starting June 8th, 2026. As an early career professional, you will be part of a paid internship program that will include a robust learning and training curriculum, mentorship from employees in your selected field, access to senior leaders, and more. As an intern, you will be assigned challenging projects based on the area of the business you will be supporting. In your role, you will have the opportunity to contribute and make a real impact.

We are seeking a motivated self-starter who is passionate about the intersection of content and commerce. In this role, the Commerce Strategy Intern will support the Commerce leadership team and report into the VP of Commerce, Lifestyle.. You will have the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders (Commerce Brand and Market Leads, Editorial, Product, Audience Development, Corporate Strategy & Sales) to gain hands-on professional experience by owning key strategic projects to scope future growth initiatives in commerce that are part of the long-range planning process.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Long-Range Growth:

  • Work on key strategic projects that inform the multi-year Long-Range Plan. Ensure all initiatives align with broader company goals to drive revenue growth and improve margin profiles.
  • Business Modeling: Build robust financial models and business cases for proposed strategies. clearly outlining revenue potential, cost structures, and ROI
  • Dependency Management: Map out cross-functional dependencies to ensure strategic plans are realistic and executable.

Innovation & Market Intelligence

  • Opportunity Assessment: Identify and vet new innovative models and potential strategic partnership opportunities and new channels that can accelerate commerce growth.
  • Research relevant emerging e-commerce trends, new platforms, technology trends (ai) and potential partnership opportunities to accelerate growth
  • Competitor benchmark and scope solutions
  • Develop scalable solutions to grow commerce with a positive ROI

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills

Hourly Rate: $25/hr
