Job Summary

Chief Rebel is seeking a creative, organized, and community-focused Community Manager to join their Stockholm team. This early-career role involves growing and supporting the community, managing outward communication from the development team, and contributing to content strategy, including livestreams, video, and short-form edits. The ideal candidate will engage daily with players, coordinate events, moderate discussions, and produce engaging content while maintaining brand consistency.

Must Have

  • Communicate clearly and write confidently in English
  • Hands-on experience with online communities (professional or volunteer)
  • Comfortable being on camera and participating in livestreams
  • Can edit short-form video content using tools like Premiere
  • Confident using Photoshop
  • Understand gaming culture and community dynamics
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable working both independently and with a team across different time zones
  • Couple of years of relevant experience
  • Engage with players daily across Discord, Steam and social channels
  • Respond to community questions and surface valuable feedback
  • Help coordinate community events and in-game activations
  • Contribute to moderation efforts
  • Monitor sentiment and prepare clear, actionable reports
  • Assist with livestreams: hosting, co-hosting, or behind-the-scenes support
  • Capture highlights and memorable moments from streams or events
  • Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Produce clear, engaging written content including patchnotes, announcements, and dev updates
  • Help maintain a consistent narrative and visual identity across platforms
  • Work with Marketing and Communications to align content with ongoing campaigns

Job Description

We’re looking for a creative, organised, and community-focused Community Manager at an early stage of their career to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden. In this role, you’ll help grow and support our community, plan and execute outward communication from the development team while also contributing to our content strategy; including livestreams, video content, and short-form edits.

Community Engagement

  • Engage with players daily across Discord, Steam and social channels
  • Respond to community questions and surface valuable feedback to the team
  • Help coordinate community events and in-game activations
  • Contribute to moderation efforts to maintain a safe, friendly environment
  • Monitor sentiment and prepare clear, actionable reports

Content Creation & Streaming

  • Assist with livestreams: hosting, co-hosting, or behind-the-scenes support
  • Capture highlights and memorable moments from streams or events
  • Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Produce clear, engaging written content including patchnotes, announcements, and dev updates
  • Help maintain a consistent narrative and visual identity across platforms
  • Work with Marketing and Communications to align content with ongoing campaigns
