Job Summary
The Workplace Community Coordinator plays a key role in creating exceptional workplace experiences and fostering a sense of community across Telstra hubs. This role supports hybrid work strategies by curating spaces, organizing events, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations that enhance employee engagement and connectivity within the Hobart Hub. Responsibilities include front desk support, property fault triage, mailroom coordination, stock management, PC lease liaison, stationery ordering, locker allocation, fleet/pool car management, and general office operations. The role also involves delivering monthly activations and community initiatives, acting as a community ambassador, and managing event space coordination.
Must Have
- Support front desk and concierge services.
- Manage staff queries and ServiceNow ticket queues.
- Perform floor walks and property fault triage.
- Coordinate mailroom, shipping, and stock management.
- Liaise and support PC Lease for employees.
- Order and replenish stationery and kitchen consumables.
- Support locker allocation and audits.
- Manage fleet/pool car management.
- Handle general day-to-day office and operations management.
- Deliver monthly activations and community initiatives in the Hobart Hub.
- Act as a community ambassador.
- Collaborate with Experience and Property teams.
- Manage event space coordination and bookings.
- Possess a valid Australian Driver’s License.
- Physically capable of handling and moving items weighing 5–10 kilograms.
- Required to be on-site five days a week.
- Confident, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

A taste of what the role entails:
Workplace Operations
- Support front desk and concierge services, including visitor management.
- Staff query management - in person/Teams/email and ServiceNow ticket queues
- Floor walks & Property fault triage and reporting
- Mailroom coordination, shipping and stock management
- PC Lease liaison & support for employees on/offboarding
- Stationery & kitchen consumables ordering and replenishment
- Locker allocation support & audits
- Streamlining processes and cost saving projects
- Fleet/Pool car management
- General day-day office and operations management
Community Engagement & Events
- Deliver various monthly activations and community initiatives in the Hobart Hub
- Act as a community ambassador, ensuring employees feel connected and supported.
- Collaborate with Experience and Property teams to maintain our office space.
- Manage event space coordination and bookings.
About You
You will bring the following skills and experiences to be successful in the role:
Essential Qualifications
- Valid Australian Driver’s License preferred to support pool car management responsibilities.
- Physical capability: Willing and able to safely handle and move items weighing 5–10 kilograms as part of workplace duties.
- On-site presence: This role requires being on-site five days a week.
- Work style: Seeking a confident, self-motivated individual who can work independently and take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.

- Experience working in workplace operations or community building and engagement.
