Job Summary

We’re on the hunt for a community-first, creator-obsessed App Creator Community Manager to champion and grow Overwolf’s global app creator ecosystem. As our Creator Guildmaster, you’ll sit at the heart of the Developer Relations team - building meaningful relationships with creators, shaping how we communicate with developers, and making sure every app creator feels supported, heard, and empowered to succeed. You’ll be the internal voice of the community and the external face of Overwolf, helping creators feel truly at home in our ecosystem.

Must Have

  • Manage and grow developer and creator communities across Discord, Slack, and emerging channels.
  • Set up, maintain, and evolve community infrastructure.
  • Maintain daily, hands-on communication with creators.
  • Create clear, engaging community updates, announcements, and ongoing DevRel communications.
  • Own and maintain developer-facing roadmaps and public-facing DevRel messaging.
  • Create creator-focused content, including the monthly developer newsletter, blog posts, and social content.
  • Plan, host, and moderate developer Town Halls.
  • Track, celebrate, and amplify creator milestones.
  • Monitor community sentiment, engagement, and trends.
  • Surface actionable creator feedback, insights, and emerging trends to internal product and business teams.
  • Stay closely aligned with Overwolf product, business, and partner teams.
  • 1+ years of experience in Community Management, Developer Relations, creator-focused support, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience managing community platforms such as Discord, Slack, forums, and social channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills, with a strong ability to create compelling content.
  • Experience running community events, digital programs, or live online sessions.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with product, marketing, support, and business teams.
  • Passion for gaming, modding, and creator-driven communities.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and empathetic communication style.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine desire to help creators succeed.

Good to Have

  • Experience working with developer or creator ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with modding, game development, or UGC platforms.
  • Experience with newsletter writing, blog publishing, or content editorial work.
  • Experience using community analytics and sentiment tools such as CommonRoom.
  • Ability to read patch notes, community mood, and room temperature – sometimes simultaneously.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and grow developer and creator communities across Discord, Slack, and emerging channels, including LinkedIn and X (Twitter).
  • Set up, maintain, and evolve community infrastructure, including channels, roles, bots, permissions, and best practices.
  • Maintain daily, hands-on communication with creators by answering questions, guiding discussions, and triaging feedback and concerns.
  • Create clear, engaging community updates, announcements, and ongoing DevRel communications.
  • Own and maintain developer-facing roadmaps and public-facing DevRel messaging.
  • Create creator-focused content, including the monthly developer newsletter, blog posts, and social content.
  • Plan, host, and moderate developer Town Halls, coordinating agendas, speakers, and logistics.
  • Track, celebrate, and amplify creator milestones through recognition, rewards, merch, and shoutouts.
  • Monitor community sentiment, engagement, and trends using tools such as CommonRoom and similar platforms.
  • Surface actionable creator feedback, insights, and emerging trends to internal product and business teams.
  • Stay closely aligned with Overwolf product, business, and partner teams to deliver timely and accurate updates to the community.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Community Management, Developer Relations, creator-focused support, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience managing community platforms such as Discord, Slack, forums, and social channels.
