Computer Vision Systems Engineer, up to Sr.

Qualcomm Computer Vision Systems group develops computer vision IP solutions for all of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platforms including mobile, automotive, VR/AR. The team’s scope includes computer vision algorithm, architecture design and software implementation for CV solutions with power and performance optimization. We seek Systems Engineers with demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: research and develop computer vision algorithms, define systems architecture, design and implement simulators, optimize DSP/GPU algorithms, define performance/power analysis methodology, and collaborate with teams for commercialization and customer support.

Must Have

• Research and develop computer vision algorithms (object detection, motion analysis, depth estimation, 3D reconstruction).
• Define systems architecture for computer vision solutions.
• Design and implement simulator for computer vision functions.
• Work on DSP or GPU optimization of computer vision algorithms.
• Define methodology for performance and power analysis.
• Collaborate with other teams to commercialize technologies and provide customer support.
• Working knowledge of visual signal processing, computer vision, machine learning.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for algorithm development.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Python or other programming languages.
• Working Knowledge of Embedded systems and architectures.

Good to Have

• Work experience with VR/AR/ADAS systems design
• Work experience in motion analysis, depth estimation
• DSP/Neon/GPU optimization and multi-thread programming
• Knowledge of open source or Android/IOS CV framework

We seek Systems Engineers with demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Research and develop a broad range of computer vision algorithms including object detection, motion analysis, depth estimation, 3D reconstruction etc. with performance and power efficiency
• Define systems architecture for computer vision solutions including data flow, task partition, user interface and systems interoperation
• Design and implement simulator for computer vision functions to be used for algorithm evaluation, hardware verification, and customer training
• Work on DSP or GPU optimization of computer vision algorithms
• Define methodology for performance and power analysis and develop innovative technologies to reduce memory bandwidth, processing latency, power consumption
• Collaborate with other teams to commercialize the technologies and provide strong customer support to enable the best visual analytics experiences
• Available for business travel across APAC and other regions as required.
