hy is looking for a motivated Consultant for the Innovation and Ventures team to redefine consulting under their motto 'Redefine Consulting'. The role involves conceptualizing, managing, and executing client projects, building MVPs and products, validating ideas, and acting as an interface to clients. The consultant will also contribute to redefining management consulting and utilize AI-powered applications.

Must Have

  • Responsible for the conception, steering, and execution of client projects, ensuring excellence and impact.
  • Responsible for building MVPs and products/product areas for clients and internally at hy.
  • Validate ideas based on prototypes, analyze collected data, and define product visions, strategies, and roadmaps.
  • Act as an interface to clients.
  • Support the approach to redefine management consulting as an active team player.
  • Independently use various AI-powered applications in your work.
  • Initial professional experience in consulting, corporate innovation, company builder, or start-ups with experience in digital business models.
  • Focus on analytical topics or experience in product development and technology integration.
  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of digital innovations, new technologies, and business models.
  • Initial leadership experience.
  • Ability to recognize patterns in large datasets and derive pragmatic recommendations.
  • Well-maintained network of freelancers and agencies in product development.

Good to Have

  • Experience founding a company or running a "side hustle".
  • Team spirit based on cohesion, excellence, curiosity, and entrepreneurship.
  • Authentic, confident presentation style.
  • Fluent in English and German.

Your Team

In the Innovation & Ventures team, we identify and develop promising growth opportunities and create sustainable solutions for the successful scaling of innovative business models.

With the systematic validation of business ideas along the dimensions of desirability, viability, and feasibility, we create the basis for sound entrepreneurial decisions. We advise our clients on the implementation of a business idea with regard to a build, partner, or investment strategy and actively support them as partners in its implementation. We consider the entire value chain, from intelligent supplier management and necessary transformation processes in production to digital customer interfaces in sales and communication. We also support our clients as competent co-entrepreneurs or investors in building an MVP, a Minimum Viable Venture, or in scaling existing business models. We always act as if it were our own business and always work for the success of our clients.

Your Mission

  • You are responsible for the conception, steering, and execution of client projects and ensure the excellence and impact of the projects.
  • You are responsible for building MVPs and products or product areas for our clients as well as internally at hy.
  • You validate ideas based on prototypes and analyze collected data to define product visions, strategies, and roadmaps.
  • You act as an interface to our clients.
  • You support the approach to redefine management consulting in your role as an active team player.
  • You independently use various AI-powered applications in your work.

What we wish for

  • You bring initial professional experience in demanding environments such as consulting, corporate innovation, company builder or start-ups with extensive experience in the development and realization of new digital business models.
  • Your focus was primarily on analytical topics or you have gained experience in product development and technology integration.
  • A big plus is if you have already founded a company yourself or run a "side hustle".
  • You have a Master's degree or equivalent.
  • You bring a deep understanding of digital innovations, new technologies, and business models.
  • You have initial leadership experience. Communication with various stakeholders is not a problem for you.
  • Large datasets do not deter you. On the contrary, they allow you to recognize patterns that you creatively process with your outstanding analytical skills to derive pragmatic recommendations.
  • You have a well-maintained network of freelancers and agencies in the broader product development environment.
