Job Summary

The Data team at Axel Springer is seeking a (Senior) Data Manager to drive data-driven growth for one of Germany's largest media houses. This role involves pioneering a holistic data strategy, maximizing customer value, and working at the intersection of business, tech, and law. The manager will be a key contact for stakeholders, support data strategy development, identify new business approaches through partnerships, and lead data-driven projects to enhance marketing and revenue.

Must Have

  • Act as a contact person for internal stakeholders, customers, and partners focusing on data and technologies.
  • Support the development and implementation of a group-wide data strategy.
  • Identify and implement new business support approaches through partnerships.
  • Design data-driven processes and lead cooperation projects with internal and external partners.
  • Work on Media Impact's data-driven marketing strategy to increase reach and revenue.
  • Prepare product and management presentations and decision documents for strategic control.
  • Bring several years of experience in technical online marketing or marketing with a focus on programmatic, ad serving, or data-driven business models.
  • Demonstrate strong technical understanding and knowledge of SSPs, DSPs, CDPs, or DMPs.
  • Confidently interpret KPIs and dashboards for data-based decision making.

What you will move with us:

What you bring:

  • Bring several years of experience in technical online marketing or marketing with a focus on programmatic, ad serving, or data-driven business models.
  • Show strong technical understanding and know the functionalities of SSPs, DSPs, CDPs, or DMPs.
  • Confidently interpret KPIs and dashboards to make data-based decisions.
  • Think entrepreneurially and evaluate topics from different perspectives.
  • Work structured and quickly acquire complex contexts.
  • Communicate confidently in German and English to convince stakeholders at all levels.
