Job Responsibilities

You will belong to the Data Science Group and primarily work on analysis and problem-solving for game operations.

【Detailed Job Responsibilities】

• Support overall data-driven decision-making.
• Analyze user behavior and identify issues in game operations.
• Analyze factors using data and propose measures for challenges and problems.
• Design and monitor various in-game KPIs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of various events and measures.
• Predict important in-game metrics such as user numbers.

• User in-game action logs.
• Survey response data.
• Advertising data.

• You can timely confirm the reactions to proposed measures based on analysis results through various KPIs.
• User action logs vary widely depending on the game title, allowing for diverse utilization methods. Furthermore, you can be involved from the log design stage for analyzing newly implemented features and measures, preventing issues where data for analysis cannot be prepared.
• During analysis, you will directly communicate with decision-makers, enabling highly accurate sharing of challenges.
• You can make decisions in collaboration with various departments, including game planners, engineers responsible for log implementation, and those considering game marketing strategies.

【Required Skills】

• Strong interest and passion for the game or entertainment domain.
• Experience in data processing using SQL or extracting/aggregating large-scale data using BigQuery, etc.
• Experience in logically deriving conclusions from data based on given challenges or problems.
• Experience in proactively involving relevant departments and producing valuable output from analysis results.

【Welcome Skills】

• Work experience in the game or entertainment industry.
• Programming skills (Python, R, etc.).
• Practical experience in problem-solving and evaluating measure effectiveness using statistics, causal inference, machine learning, mathematical optimization, etc.

• Working Hours: Standard working hours 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (8 hours actual work)
• Work Style: Flextime system (Core time: 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
