Your Role with Us:
In the position of Data Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in the integration and maintenance of Blackline, our advanced accounting automation tool. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy of deposits and effectively managing currency exchange-related losses. Leveraging your proficiency in SQL and Python, you will craft and execute scripts to streamline data processes. Your responsibilities also encompass the continuous maintenance of Blackline, including the routine generation of insightful reports.
Collaboration is a cornerstone of this role, involving close cooperation with the Dev Team and finance professionals to seamlessly integrate data into our system. With a specific emphasis on ETL processes, your 3+ years of experience within the finance/payment sectors, will be instrumental in driving excellence in data analysis and automation.

What you will do:
- Setting up the portal of different data platform to facilitate the data streaming across workspace and monitoring the operation and reporting incidents
- Gathering, extracting and manipulating raw data from multiple data sources to pool the data to facilitate transaction cross checking and generate reporting for daily performance tracking
- Cleaning, transforming and structuring data to ensure compatibility, accuracy, and consistency of data facilitate various management reporting needs
- Script coding to improve the automation and data accuracy
- Responding to requests for information by summarising and analysing internal and external data sources, enabling informed decision making to drive improved performance across a broad range of business units
Salary for this position is dependent on experience with a range from $110K - $130K + Super + up to 20% Annual Bonus
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years working as a Data Analyst within the Finance/Payment/Exchange/Security trading sectors.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, and SQL, and data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong API integration experience
- Strong FX knowledge
Bonus points if you also have:
- Exposure to Netsuite
- Cryptocurrency knowledge would be advantageous
- Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Jira & Intercom
