Job Description

As a Data Analyst at Leapwork, you will be instrumental in shaping data-driven decisions across the business. You will contribute to building new data functionality from the ground up, working within modern data environments like Microsoft Fabric and Azure. Your role involves gathering, cleaning, and structuring data, building and maintaining dashboards in Power BI, monitoring data quality, and performing ad-hoc analyses. You will collaborate with data engineers and functional teams to translate data into actionable insights, enabling the organization to operate with greater speed and precision.

  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar data analyst role.
  • Proficient with BI and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Strong SQL skills are essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, R, or similar for data analysis.
  • Required experience writing DAX in Power BI.
  • Skilled at translating data into actionable insights and business narratives.
  • Maintains accuracy and precision with complex datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with stakeholders.
  • Proactive in building new data solutions and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

As a Data Analyst at Leapwork, you’ll help shape how data fuels smarter decisions across the business. Our data team is building the data architecture to unify, transform, and connect information from many sources into a unified data view. You’ll play a key role in building new data functionality from the ground up, contributing to greenfield projects that define the foundation of our data landscape. By turning complexity into clarity, you’ll enable the whole organization to execute with greater speed, precision, and impact. Role Responsibilities

  • Data Extraction & Preparation: Gather, clean, and structure data from multiple internal systems and sources, working within modern data environments such as Microsoft Fabric and Azure, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Reporting & Dashboarding: Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI (or similar tools) to visualize key metrics for business stakeholders.
  • Data Quality Monitoring: Perform regular data validation checks to ensure completeness, reliability, and integrity across datasets.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Support business teams by delivering quick-turnaround analyses that answer specific questions or test hypotheses.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with data engineers and functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, metrics definitions, and reporting logic for transparency and scalability.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay curious about new tools, techniques, and AI-driven analytics capabilities to improve the team’s analytical maturity.

Role Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience from a similar role.
  • Data Handling: Comfortable extracting and manipulating data from multiple sources.
  • Visualization Tools: Proficient with BI and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker; experience working with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills are essential, with hands-on experience using Python, R, or a similar language for data manipulation and analysis. Experience writing DAX in Power BI is also required.
  • Insight Generation: Skilled at translating data into actionable insights and clear business narratives.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintains accuracy and precision when working with complex datasets.
  • Growth Mindset: Eager to learn and develop data storytelling and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data into simple, meaningful insights.
