Job Summary
Leapwork is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Operations Team Lead to support key financial processes. This role is instrumental in ensuring accuracy and efficiency across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Travel & Expense management, and bank reconciliation activities. The Lead will report to the Accounting Manager in Ireland, manage a Financial Operations Associate, and work cross-functionally to streamline workflows and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Must Have
- Lead day-to-day review, processing, and recording of supplier bills and credit notes
- Ensure proper coding, approval routing, and compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Oversee and execute weekly payment runs
- Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable general ledger accounts
- Monitor AP mailbox and assist with supplier queries
- Prepare and issue customer invoices based on contract terms and milestones
- Monitor AR aging and support collection efforts
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies or payment issues
- Monitor AR mailbox and assist with billing queries
- Manage daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve unidentified transactions or variances
- Manage employee expense reports using Navan
- Provide support and training to employees on T&E processes
- Reconcile Navan statements to general ledger accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a finance operations role
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, billing and reconciliation processes
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience in an international or SaaS environment
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Navan, and Salesforce

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Operations Team Lead to support key financial processes within our growing organization. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of day-to-day operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Travel & Expense management, and bank reconciliation activities.
You will report to the Accounting Manager in Ireland and support the day-to-day finance processes. You will also manage and mentor the Financial Operations Associate, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across finance operations. The ideal candidate is organized, systems-savvy, and capable of working cross-functionally with internal departments and external vendors and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Lead the day-to-day review, processing, and recording of supplier bills and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure proper coding, approval routing, and compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Oversee and execute weekly payment runs in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with internal controls and vendor terms.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitoring of AP mailbox and assisting with supplier queries.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare and issue customer invoices based on contract terms and milestones.
- Monitor AR aging and support collection efforts to ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies or payment issues.
- Monitoring of AR mailbox and assisting with billing queries.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation and efficiency initiatives, leveraging ERP systems and tools to streamline workflows.
Bank Reconciliations
- Manage daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between the GL and bank activity.
- Investigate and resolve unidentified transactions or variances.
Travel & Expense (T&E)
- Manage employee expense reports using Navan, ensuring policy compliance and accurate classifications.
- Provide support and training to employees on T&E processes.
- Reconcile Navan statements to general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Systems & Tools
- Oracle NetSuite – day-to-day transactional accounting (AP/AR, billing, GL, bank reconciliations).
- Navan – employee travel and expense management.
- Salesforce – customer data and contract visibility for accurate AR billing.
- Omnea – purchase requisition tool
- ChatGPT
- Microsoft D365 range (including co-pilot)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a finance operations role preferably in an international or SaaS environment.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Navan, and Salesforce is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, billing and reconciliation processes.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Strong Excel skills.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work under deadlines and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
