Join our client's dynamic Product Design & Creative organization within the Technology & Digital division, where you will collaborate closely with DesignOps and design partners across the company. As a pivotal member of our client's team, you will report to the Manager of Content Design & Operations, driving innovation and efficiency in design operations. This hybrid role requires onsite presence three days per week and offers weekly paychecks (W2) and benefits for a 40-hour work week.

Design Operation Manager Responsibilities:
Develop and refine DesignOps processes to enhance workflow efficiency across teams and broader workstreams.
Streamline processes such as work intake for new projects, prioritization, roadmapping, forecasting, and tracking design and content debt across various lines of business and horizontal teams.
Identify and address design team needs related to processes, tools, documentation, and asset management, partnering with fellow DesignOps team members to implement effective changes.
Oversee large or strategically significant design initiatives, providing advisory support to multiple teams.
Manage the allocation and health of Product Design & Creative team resources within your assigned portfolio.
Facilitate communication from working teams to design leadership and cross-functional partners.
Serve as a strategic point-of-contact for the design management team, collaborating on project requirements, estimations, and action item tracking.
Maintain metrics to assess the impact and health of the design team.
Foster collaboration among design teams across locations, ensuring alignment towards consistent project goals.
Support a vibrant design community through events, routines, and practices that elevate the design voice.
Design Operation Manager Qualifications:
Over 5 years of experience, ideally in a DesignOps role.
Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA and Smartsheets, with the ability to build out systems.
Skilled in Excel and Tableau.
Experience with user-centered design processes, methodologies, and standards.
Ability to engage with a diverse range of technical and non-technical partners.
Strong relationship-building skills within a matrixed organization.
Experience in technical and engineering environments, maintaining design progress updates.
Demonstrated initiative in operational improvements.
Multitasking ability, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with design tools, processes, and technologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate strategy and design decisions effectively.
