We’re looking to hire a Customer Lifecycle Marketing Automation Manager for a remote opportunity based in New York, NY. This is a 12-month contract role with a global media and advertising leader known for its creativity, innovation, and collaborative culture.
You’ll join the Ad Sales Communications – Self-Service (SMB/Agency Advertisers) team to build and optimize automated lifecycle marketing programs that drive awareness, onboarding, adoption, and retention for a leading self-service advertising platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally and make a measurable impact on customer engagement and ROI.

Customer Lifecycle Marketing Automation Manager Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and launch automated email and customer journeys using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE/Pardot).
- Segment audiences (SMBs, agencies), personalize messaging, and conduct A/B testing to improve engagement.
- Track performance through Salesforce dashboards and analytics, sharing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance automation capabilities and system integrations.
- Leverage data to optimize conversion, adoption, and overall lifecycle performance.
- Partner cross-functionally to plan campaigns, offers, and incentives that drive customer ROI.
Customer Lifecycle Marketing Automation Manager Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of B2B lifecycle marketing automation experience, ideally with SMB or agency audiences.
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce and MCAE (Pardot), including journey creation, scoring, segmentation, and trigger-based workflows.
- Strong analytical skills — ability to design A/B tests, interpret KPIs, and drive data-informed decisions.
- In-depth understanding of lead lifecycle management, CRM handoffs, and qualification processes.
- Proven ability to translate business goals into scalable automation strategies and write clear technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and project management skills; able to align teams and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Bonus: Experience in media, advertising, or digital marketing environments.
