Job Summary

VAM Systems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for its Bahrain operations. The role involves providing 24/7 technical assistance to over 9000 users, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and installing/configuring IT equipment. Responsibilities also include routine maintenance, hardware upgrades, and IT procurement. Candidates should possess ITIL Foundation, customer service certification, strong communication skills, and Microsoft OS knowledge.

Must Have

  • Provide 24/7 support for PCs, peripherals, and over 9000 users
  • Offer technical assistance for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot IT equipment problems
  • Install and configure desktops, laptops, and related hardware
  • Set up and maintain software, OS, and drivers
  • Perform routine maintenance and hardware upgrades
  • Manage IT procurement and vendor relations
  • Possess ITIL Foundation certification
  • Hold a Customer Service certificate
  • Demonstrate strong Communication Skills
  • Have Microsoft OS knowledge and troubleshooting skills

  • Provide technical assistance to endusers regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Support more than 9000 Employee.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with computers, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
  • Install and configure desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware. Set up and maintain software applications, operating systems, and drivers.
  • Perform routine maintenance on desktops and laptops, including hardware upgrades and repairs.
  • IT Procurement and Vendor Management to related devices and equipment.
