Job Summary
VAM Systems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for its Bahrain operations. The role involves providing 24/7 technical assistance to over 9000 users, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and installing/configuring IT equipment. Responsibilities also include routine maintenance, hardware upgrades, and IT procurement. Candidates should possess ITIL Foundation, customer service certification, strong communication skills, and Microsoft OS knowledge.
Must Have
- Provide 24/7 support for PCs, peripherals, and over 9000 users
- Offer technical assistance for hardware, software, and network issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot IT equipment problems
- Install and configure desktops, laptops, and related hardware
- Set up and maintain software, OS, and drivers
- Perform routine maintenance and hardware upgrades
- Manage IT procurement and vendor relations
- Possess ITIL Foundation certification
- Hold a Customer Service certificate
- Demonstrate strong Communication Skills
- Have Microsoft OS knowledge and troubleshooting skills

- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with computers, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
- Install and configure desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware. Set up and maintain software applications, operating systems, and drivers.
- Perform routine maintenance on desktops and laptops, including hardware upgrades and repairs.
- IT Procurement and Vendor Management to related devices and equipment.
