Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to multi-discipline projects, focusing on change and configuration management of released parts within the Maintain Launched Design (MLD) scope. The Development Engineer will execute engineering changes using tools like Windchill and maintain product data, including Design History File (DHF) and Device Master Record (DMR) for medical products. The position is based in the MDC HW Pune Department and requires a strong quality mindset and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

  • Bachelors in Mechanical /Electronics/ Electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in R&D.
  • Experienced user of Windchill cPLM.
  • Quality mindset.
  • Good communicator and capable to get things done from multiple stakeholders.
  • Has affinity with agile and lean.
  • Team Player.

You have the opportunity to contribute to multi- discipline project or sub-projects of an integral project, in accordance with agreed conditions on specification, time, cost and staffing. Development Engineer-Change Management plays key role in driving engineering changes.

You are responsible for

  • Change and Configuration Management of released parts in the MLD (Maintain Launched Design) scope.
  • Execute engineering changes according PDLM procedures using tools like Windchill.
  • Maintain product data including DHF (Design History File) and DMR (Device Master Record) of medical products. Part BOM lists, drawings, master list, changes, test results.

You are a part of the MDC HW Pune Department within the Mechatronics Development Cluster of R&D IGT Systems in Best, Netherlands. Functionally this role is a part of the existing Change Management Team within PQ&M.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Bachelors in Mechanical /Electronics/ Electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 5-7 years’ experience in R&D
  • Experienced user of Windchill cPLM (common Product Lifecycle Management)
  • Quality mindset
  • Good communicator and capable to get things done from multiple stakeholders from different professions within Philips. Norm compliance, engineering leads, procurement, supplier quality, packaging.
  • Likes to work in an operational atmosphere within R&D according defined processes
  • Has affinity with agile and lean.
  • Experienced user of Excel is preferred.
  • Team Player
