About This Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on and curious DevOps Engineer to help support and improve our technology infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their DevOps career who enjoys problem-solving, learning new tools, and working closely with development teams to keep systems running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Work with developers to configure applications and automate deployments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to make releases faster and more reliable.
- Manage servers, storage, and virtual machines.
- Automate routine tasks like patching, monitoring, and backups.
- Help monitor system performance and respond to alerts or help requests.
- Follow security best practices for managing access, credentials, and updates.
What You'll Need:
- 1–3 years of experience in IT, cloud, or infrastructure administration.
- Basic experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Some knowledge of CI/CD tools (like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab).
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and learning new technologies.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Interest in cloud certifications or professional growth in DevOps.
- Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and location.
