DevOps Engineer

This DevOps Engineer role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure in GCP using Terraform. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/Harness, managing GCP services like GKE and Cloud SQL, and monitoring system health. The role requires collaboration with development teams to enhance software delivery, automate tasks, and ensure compliance with security standards. Candidates should have 3+ years of DevOps experience, proficiency in Terraform, Jenkins/Harness, GCP/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.

Must Have

• Design and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/Harness.
• Manage GCP resources and services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, Cloud SQL).
• Monitor system health, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with development teams on software delivery and DevOps best practices.
• Automate repetitive tasks and enhance system efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role.
• Proficiency with Terraform.
• Experience with Jenkins/Harness and Git.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services/AWS cloud and architecture.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL).
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash).
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and cloud governance.

Good to Have

• GCP Professional DevOps Engineer or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Knowledge of other CI/CD tools and platforms.
• Experience in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Experience on working with Kafka, Nifi, Opensearch.

• Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services/ AWS cloud and architecture.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL).
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.).
