Job Description
We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong SQL and Spark SQL skills, and experience in ETL setup. This role involves writing and optimizing SQL/Spark SQL queries, supporting ETL setup and data validation, creating reports and dashboards using BI tools, performing data quality checks, and analyzing Java logs for troubleshooting. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, leveraging strong problem-solving and communication skills to make a significant impact.

Must Have:
- 1+ years experience in SQL, Spark SQL, and Unix commands
- Ability to write and optimize SQL/Spark SQL queries
- Experience with ETL setup and data validation processes
- Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards using BI tools
- Skilled in data quality checks and root cause analysis
- Experience generating data reports with tools like Excel
- Ability to analyze and interpret Java logs for troubleshooting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Key Responsibilities:

- Support ETL setup and data validation processes.
- Create reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Perform data quality checks and root cause analysis.
- Generate and maintain data reports using tools like Excel, or other reporting platforms.
- Analyze and interpret Java logs to troubleshooting and report issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
What You'll Bring:
- 1+ years of experience in SQL and Spark SQL and Unix commands.
- Basic understanding of GCP or AWS (preferred).
- Intermediate analytical and communication skills

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
