Job Summary
The Application Support Analyst will work 24x7 supporting Java, .NET, Docker, and Kubernetes platforms, utilizing Linux and SQL. This role involves incident management, triaging, and resolving issues, along with problem and change management. The associate will maintain mission-critical production environments, perform pre/post-release validations, and interact with other support teams. Essential experience includes 3-5 years in application support, strong Linux skills, and knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing tools like Remedy/ServiceNow.
Must Have
- Support and maintain TransUnion's mission critical production business environment in 24x7 rotational shifts.
- Excellent incident management skills, including identification, triaging, and resolving incidents.
- Good exposure to problem and change management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent working knowledge in LINUX, SQL, SPLUNK, Grafana, AppDynamics, and SPOTFIRE.
- Working knowledge in Docker, K8, and DevOps Tools.
- Knowledge in Unix shell scripting, Cron, Batch Jobs, and Abinitio Technology.
- Perform pre- and post-release validations for production stability and successful change implementation.
- 3-5 years of experience in Application Support.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes like incident, problem, and change management.
- Prior experience in ticketing tools like Remedy/ServiceNow.
Good to Have
- Shell Scripting, Python, Automation skills.
- Experience in Cloud Platforms.
- Prior automation experience (small or medium-sized tasks).
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications.
- Any technical or process certifications (e.g., ITIL).

Excellent Working knowledge in LINUX, SQL, SPLUNK, Grafana and Various other monitoring Tools. (AppDynamics, SPOTFIRE)
Working Knowledge in Docker, K8, Devops Tools
Should have knowledge in Unix shell scripting, Cron, Batch Jobs and Abinitio Technology
This position requires frequent interaction with other support teams and vendor. Hence excellent verbal and written communication is expected.
Perform pre- and post-release validations to ensure production stability and successful change implementation.
Shell Scripting, Python, Automation is an added advantage
Experience in Cloud Platforms.
Any Certifications (Technical) or Process is must. (Lie ITIL etc.)
Impact You'll Make:
3 - 5 years of experience in Application Support is essential for this position.
Excellent hands on experience in Linux is preferred.
Solid understanding of ITIL processes like incident, Problem and change management.
Prior experience in ticketing tools like Remedy/Service Now is essential.
Prior Automation Experience, Even Small or Medium sized Tasks is added advantage.
Candidates currently supporting cloud-based applications is an added advantage.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
