Sr Consultant, Workday Functional/Support

Job Summary

At TransUnion, we leverage information to help people make better decisions and improve quality of life globally. As a Workday Consultant, you will provide daily support across multiple Workday modules, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and advising stakeholders. You’ll perform internal and external data audits, manage SLA-based case resolution, and contribute to Workday projects and release activities. This role offers a dynamic environment to expand HR platform expertise within a collaborative and high-performing team, helping organizations optimize risk and consumers manage personal information.

Must Have

  • 4-6 years hands-on Workday experience (HCM, Recruiting, Reporting, Performance, Absence)
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Advanced Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields proficiency
  • Skilled in mass data uploads using EIBs
  • In-depth Workday Recruiting knowledge
  • Strong understanding of Workday’s Business Process Framework
  • Capable of configuring and optimizing Business Processes
  • Proactive in identifying process improvements
  • Experience supporting internal and external audit requirements (SOX compliance)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in gathering business requirements, creating/executing test plans
  • Active contributor to Workday release cycles (impact analysis, feature adoption)
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Experienced in creating clear documentation and SOPs

What You'll Bring:

  • Overall 10 years exp and 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Workday, with strong expertise across modules including HCM, Recruiting, Reporting, Performance, and Absence.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive resolution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
  • Skilled in preparing and executing mass data uploads using EIBs, ensuring data accuracy.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday Recruiting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve configuration-related challenges.
  • Strong understanding of Workday’s Business Process Framework
  • Capable of configuring and optimizing Business Processes to align with evolving business needs.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Experience supporting internal and external audit requirements, including Workday data reviews and SOX compliance.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proficient in gathering business requirements, creating test scenarios, and executing test plans.
  • Active contributor to Workday release cycles, including impact analysis and feature adoption.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on knowledge sharing and team alignment.
  • Experienced in creating clear documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support operational continuity.

Hybrid working – two days a week mandatory at office.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
