This position involves collaborating with engineering teams to implement software automation solutions. The role aims to improve time-to-market for cutting-edge products and impact the daily lives of engineers. Responsibilities include working on build, scan, and release automation, streamlining development, and optimizing validation processes for the GPU Software Engineering organization. The intern will be involved in a global engineering organization supporting next-generation engineering innovations. They will be part of the team working on automation ecosystem to ease, streamline and tune development and validation processes.
Good To Have:
  • Configuration automation tools (Ansible/Puppet/SaltStack etc.).
  • Docker/Kubernetes knowledge.
Must Have:
  • Current student status for the internship duration.
  • Pursuing a BS/MS in a related field.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • General DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering knowledge.
  • Practical programming knowledge (Python/Go/Bash).
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows systems administration and network concepts.

Job Description: 

We are working on build, scan and release automation ecosystem to ease, streamline and tune development and validation processes for the GPU Software Engineering organization (Intel Graphics).

In this position, you will partner with engineering teams to implement software automation solutions that will improve time to market for cutting edge products and impact the day-to-day lives of thousands of engineers. This position requires a diverse set of skills and will be part of a Global Engineering organization supporting next generation engineering innovations.

Qualifications:

Required skills:

  • Current student status and availability to remain a student for the duration of our internship (12 - 24 months). Candidates must be based in Poland at the start date and for the duration of this internship.
  • Candidate must be pursuing a BS/MS degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer science, Electrical Engineering or any other related field.
  • Fluent in English - reading, writing, speaking.
  • General DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering knowledge.
  • Practical programming knowledge (Python/Go/Bash).
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows systems administration and network concepts (IP, TCP, DNS).

Nice to have:

  • Configuration automation tools (Ansible/Puppet/SaltStack etc.)
  • Docker/Kubernetes knowledge.
