RRD is seeking a Digital Imaging Analyst for an onsite position in Houston, TX. This role involves owning the automated validation pipeline's day-to-day health, monitoring dashboards, supporting PaperStream scanning operations, triaging failures, and processing client rework. The analyst will drive continuous improvement, troubleshoot scanner issues, correct XML/PDF/TXT files, and ensure reliable and timely operations. Key responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, providing PaperStream support, handling rework, and maintaining SOPs.

Must Have

  • Comfortable reading/editing PowerShell and Batch; Windows admin basics.
  • File-system automation experience.

RRD has an immediate opening for a Digital Imaging Analyst!

This is an onsite position

Job Summary

Own the day-to-day health of the automated validation pipeline. Monitor dashboards and logs, support PaperStream scanning operations, triage failures, process client "rework" and drive continuous improvement for operations to flow reliably and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor & respond: Watch dashboard KPIs and task logs; verify daily/shift counts.
  • PaperStream support: Troubleshoot scanner/driver/profile issues, stalled batches, export errors, perform L2/L3 triage, document workarounds, and escalate to vendor/IT/solutions as needed.
  • Rework processing: Intake client-flagged "rework", correct XML/PDF/TXT as required, re-run validations, re-queue and confirm successful upload.
  • Triage & remediation: Investigate items in Error; fix filename/metadata issues or route to Manual QC.
  • Training feedback loop: Analyze recurring errors; publish short training tips to scanning teams to prevent repeats.
  • SOP ownership: Create and update SOP's/runbooks for PaperStream support, rework handling, validations, and release/change processes.
  • Release/change control: Track script versions, test changes, communicate cutovers/rollback plans.
  • Stakeholder comms: Keep sanning floor, QA, and leadership informed on SLAs, blockers and volumes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or similar field.
  • 3+ years in production ops for document/content workflows is preferred.
  • PaperStream or similar scanning software experience is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable reading/editing PowerShell and Batch; Windows admin basics is preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of XML.
  • File-system automation experience is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, incident communication, and SLA mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $55,000 to $82,700 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
