Job Description

As a Digital Marketing Strategist at Google, you'll collaborate with the Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales team to grow Mid-Market Sales (MMS) customers. You'll analyze customers' advertising activities and markets, developing insights and solutions. Your skills in influencing, relationship-building, and problem-solving will be crucial in delivering market research and analysis, setting advertising strategies, and achieving client goals. Responsibilities include extensive product training, collaboration with Account Executives and Strategists, market analysis, data analysis to create client insights, solution implementation and optimization, performance reporting, and proposal creation.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years strategy/analytics experience
  • 1+ year in CRM, account management, or similar
  • Fluent English and French
  • Data analysis and insight creation
  • Client relationship management
Good to have:
  • Experience using analytics to solve business problems
  • Coding (Python, R, SQL)
  • Online marketing strategy knowledge
  • Performance marketing experience
  • Data interpretation and compelling narrative building

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in strategy, analytics, or insight-based product solutions.
  • 1 year of experience working in customer relationship development, account management, media consulting, or a similar role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using analytics to solve business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and querying databases.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data insights.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives to successfully influence clients utilizing data and insights.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Complete extensive training to become an expert in Google’s product suite.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Account Strategists to determine the optimal support for the client portfolio.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of the market, industry, products, and tools in preparation to offer solutions for our clients' business challenges.
  • Analyze data and trends in order to create insights for clients. Implement solutions, track performance, and optimize against advertiser goals.
  • Report on key performance indicators and value delivered for customers. Create proposals to represent solution design around client goals.
