Job Description

The Digital Content Operations Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and operational support of on-premise video services required by the Core Digital and ViX verticals. Their main function is to ensure efficient and robust workflows, from video signal capture to cloud distribution, using state-of-the-art technologies for live streaming and video on demand (VOD). They will lead the identification and resolution of technical incidents that may affect service continuity.
Must Have:
  • Design and configure digital content services, optimizing the use of available sources, without affecting the performance of existing services for Core Digital, ViX or associated platforms.
  • Coordinate with Engineering teams to establish and maintain connectivity between the different Master Control and the Digital Master, ensuring compliance with network standards and security policies.
  • Supervise the performance of streaming services using real-time monitoring tools, including direct verifications from servers and encoders.
  • Configure and deploy new content flows (live or VOD) according to the technical and operational requirements of the business areas, ensuring quality and stability.
  • Update existing services to improve efficiency in bandwidth usage, CPU load on servers and encoders, improving user playback experience, ensuring stability during the process.
  • Perform maintenance tasks in conjunction with providers, in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA), to ensure the stability of the technical ecosystem (bandwidth, connectivity, encoders, etc.).
  • Coordinate with providers, networks and security to keep servers updated at the operating system and software level, preventing vulnerabilities and improving overall performance.
  • Prepare and maintain updated documentation on all implemented services, including any changes or updates to ensure traceability and operational control.
  • Review periodic technical reports to evaluate the status of services, identify critical points and take preventive measures against possible incidents.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of streaming.
  • Availability to attend the office in Santa Fe.
