Accounts Payable Intern

TelevisaUnivision is seeking an Accounts Payable Intern in Mexico City (Santa Fe). This role is for active students looking to complete professional internships or social service in a corporate environment. The intern will support the Accounts Payable team by assisting with audit requirements, integrating working papers, gathering information from AP systems, training suppliers on Oracle cloud portal, and reviewing tax requirements on invoices. This is an unpaid training experience offering practical exposure to real processes and professional guidance.

Must Have

About the position and team

You will be part of the Accounts Payable team. In this team, payment requests are received from all operational and administrative areas of Televisa Univision. We review operations with national and foreign suppliers, perform accounting coding, validation, and approval of payments prior to sending them to the treasury area, reconciliations, weekly cashflow review to deliver payments approved by senior management to corporate treasury, attention to internal and external audits, and collection of information to address requirements from government agencies.

About you

As an Intern in the Accounts Payable area, you will support in fulfilling audit requirements, integrating working papers, gathering information from accounts payable systems, training suppliers on using the Oracle cloud supplier portal, and reviewing tax requirements on national and foreign invoices.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Invoice review.
• Support in training national suppliers.
• Prepare reports and reconciliations.
• Address requirements (SAT, IMSS).
• Review tickets on the ServiceNow platform.

Requirements

• Active student of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration or related fields.
• Proficiency in Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and effective communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Availability to perform your social service or professional internships in-person in Santa Fe.
