Nexstar Media Group is seeking a Credit and Collections Analyst for its Shared Service Center in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves managing and monitoring receivable balances on an assigned portfolio. Key responsibilities include making collection calls, following up on past due items, researching customer deductions, pursuing repayment for invalid deductions, and collaborating with station managers and account executives to process credits, short pays, and bad debt. The analyst will also perform credit checks on potential customers and other assigned duties.

Must Have

• Experience with corporate collections
• Make collection calls and maintain follow-up on customer's past due items
• Research customer deductions and pursue repayment if invalid
• Work with station Managers and/or Account executives to process credits, short pays, and bad debt
• Utilize good judgment in maintaining essential job functions
• Perform credit checks on potential customers

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Credit and Collections Analyst for our Shared Service Center located in Indianapolis, IN, with experience with corporate collections. The Analyst will manage and monitor the company’s receivable balances on a portfolio that has been assigned to them.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Make collection calls and maintain follow-up on customer’s past due items.
• Research customer deductions and pursue repayment from the customer if deductions are needed invalid
• Work with the station Managers and or Account executives to ensure that all credits, short pays and bad debt are processed.
• Utilize good judgment in dealing maintaining essential job functions through planning, and follow up.
• Perform other duties as assigned and not limited to reviewing accounts for credit to update with terms or decline.
• Perform credit checks on potential customers as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
