Job Summary

The Director, Field Marketing is a hybrid role focused on driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention across the U.S. market by bridging sales and marketing. This individual will spend 60% of their time in the field, collaborating with sales, marketing, education, and key opinion leaders to develop and deploy high-impact commercial tools and strategies. Responsibilities include creating marketing materials, championing CRM use, executing market share growth strategies, and training the sales force.

Must Have

  • Partner closely with sales teams to develop and implement customer-centric content and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with education to develop and execute education-driven field marketing strategies.
  • Create and optimize marketing materials including promotions, presentations, PDFs, animations, and sales pitch decks.
  • Serve as a KOL liaison, identifying, nurturing, and leveraging key clinicians.
  • Champion the use of CRM across the field sales team.
  • Work closely with the Sales Executive team to execute market share growth strategies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across all product categories and digital workflows.
  • Periodically attend education courses to identify opportunities for targeted sales promotions.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, regulatory, quality, education, legal and commercial operations to ensure compliance.
  • Drive field enablement by training the sales force to effectively leverage marketing messaging, assets and tools.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for field marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Development team to execute and enhance value-added services and loyalty program initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of medical device sales strategy, customer segmentation, and consultative selling in a clinical environment.
  • Comfortable working across departments and influencing without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in setting KPIs and tracking field performance metrics.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% across the U.S.
  • Must be self-directed, agile, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
  • 7+ years of experience in dental or dental implants, with a strong background in field sales.
  • Proven success in dental implants or closely related dental/medical fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • Marketing experience is a strong plus.

##### Director, Field Marketing

The Director, Field Marketing is a hybrid role that plays a critical part in bridging sales and marketing to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention across the U.S. market. With a strong presence in the field (60% of time), this individual will collaborate directly with the sales force, marketing, education, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to develop and deploy high-impact commercial tools and strategies that win new customers and deepen loyalty with existing ones.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with sales teams to develop and implement customer-centric content and initiatives that drive overall growth.
  • Collaborate with education to develop and execute education-driven field marketing strategies—such as study clubs, full-arch training, course-specific promotions, specialist focused courses, and other key initiatives—with a focus on driving new customer acquisition, expanding customer engagement, and accelerating practice growth through these tools, while implementing tracking mechanisms (e.g., attendance metrics, conversion rates, course ROI, and practice growth analysis) to measure effectiveness and optimize future initiatives.
  • Create and optimize marketing materials including promotions, presentations, PDFs, animations, and sales pitch decks that support field sales execution.
  • Serve as a KOL liaison, identifying, nurturing, and leveraging key clinicians to support product adoption and brand credibility; and collaborate with the education team to successfully maintain KOL relations and onboard new KOLs.
  • Champion the use of CRM across the field sales team by promoting adoption, training on best practices, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance customer engagement and adoption, while directly tying CRM utilization to sales tracking through pipeline visibility, opportunity progression, and conversion metrics to ensure accountability and measurable revenue growth.
  • Work closely with the Sales Executive team to execute market share growth strategies by helping sales identify and pursue high-value opportunities in the premium segment
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across all product categories and digital workflows, while maintaining deep knowledge of competitive offerings, to empower sales strategy tools and initiatives, serve consultatively in conversations with prospects, and actively support sales conversions
  • Periodically attend education courses to identify opportunities for structuring targeted sales promotions, ensuring programs deliver maximum ROI, and serving as a sales support resource to increase customer conversion and competitive wins.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, regulatory, quality, education, legal and commercial operations to ensure all produced materials maintain message consistency and meet compliance standards.
  • Drive field enablement by training the sales force to effectively leverage marketing messaging, assets and tools, and equipping reps with tailored talk tracks and strategies that resonate with dental professionals
  • Set and monitor KPIs for field marketing initiatives, translating data into actionable plans (e.g. retained customer growth, customer attendance at key events & targeted competitor acquisition).
  • Collaborate with the Practice Development team to execute and enhance value-added services and loyalty program initiatives that strengthen customer relationships and support business growth

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of medical device sales strategy, customer segmentation, and consultative selling in a clinical environment.
  • Comfortable working across departments and influencing without direct authority.

Education/Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in dental or dental implants, with a strong background in field sales; marketing experience is a strong plus.
  • Proven success in dental implants or closely related dental/medical fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred.
