This role involves overseeing the strategy, execution, and performance of all paid media channels. The Director will develop and implement data-driven campaigns, manage key media partnerships, and ensure alignment with business objectives through continuous auditing and optimization. Responsibilities also include leading and mentoring a high-performing team, staying updated on industry trends, and driving growth and efficiency in paid media initiatives.
Must Have:
  • Develop and execute innovative paid media strategies and campaign plans.
  • Oversee implementation of paid media campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and agencies.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key media partners (Google, Facebook).
  • Regularly audit and analyze media performance for optimization.
  • Define, measure, and evaluate paid media KPIs.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing paid media team.
  • 7+ years of paid media/advertising experience.
  • Proven experience as a media director or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in media buying, planning, and supervising/directing.
  • Strong lead generation and performance marketing background.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Flexible problem solver thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative paid media strategies and campaign plans that align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of paid media campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and agencies to identify and activate high-impact opportunities.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key media partners, including Google, Facebook, and other advertising platforms.
  • Regularly audit and analyze media performance, identifying challenges, opportunities, and best practices to drive optimization and automation.
  • Define, measure, and evaluate paid media KPIs to assess campaign effectiveness and guide strategic decisions.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing paid media team, managing daily operations, workloads, deadlines, and budgets to ensure excellence and efficiency.

Experience & Requirements

  • 7+ years of paid media/advertising experience and proven experience as a media director or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience in media buying, planning, and supervising/directing
  • Strong lead generation and performance marketing background
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Possess exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written), including the ability and confidence to respectfully voice ideas and concerns with the team
  • Function as a flexible problem solver with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigate competing demands
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
