SailPoint is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Director, Product Management, ID SecOps to lead our Identity Security Operations portfolio. This leader will own the vision, roadmap, and go-to-market execution for Orchestration & Insights, Response & Remediation, and Data Access Security products. The role involves leading product strategy, driving execution from ideation to market adoption, shaping go-to-market, bridging identity and SOC expertise, championing data security, fostering strategic ecosystem partnerships, and mentoring a team of product managers.
Must have:

About the role:

SailPoint is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Director, Product Management, ID SecOps to lead our Identity Security Operations portfolio. This leader will own the vision, roadmap, and go-to-market execution for our Orchestration & Insights, Response & Remediation, and Data Access Security products—collectively forming the foundation of our Identity Security Operations initiative.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across the security landscape, spanning identity-driven threat detection, automated response and proactive access governance. A proven track record of successfully building transformative products that rapidly achieve mainstream adoption is also a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Product Strategy across Identity Security Operations products to deliver a unified, intelligent, and actionable experience for identity-centric security use cases.
  • Drive Product Execution from early-stage ideation through successful market adoption, with a proven playbook for crossing the chasm and scaling B2B cybersecurity offerings.
  • Shape Go-to-Market & Market Fit by partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Design Partner Programs to refine positioning, validate hypotheses, and iterate quickly based on real-world feedback.
  • Bridge Identity & SOC Expertise by building capabilities that complement existing SIEM/SOAR investments, enriching SOC workflows with identity context and automation.
  • Champion Data Security by integrating data-layer protections into broader identity-led initiatives, especially for unstructured data and high-risk access scenarios.
  • Foster Strategic Ecosystem Partnerships that extend our value proposition and accelerate customer adoption, particularly with adjacent platforms in SIEM, SOAR, DSPM, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Mentor and Scale a team of product managers aligned around vision, delivery excellence, and customer outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years in enterprise product management, with direct ownership of identity, security operations, or data security technologies.
  • Demonstrated success taking products from zero-to-one through hypergrowth, including experience with early adopter engagement, category creation, and product-market fit refinement.
  • Strong understanding of the SOC and its evolving needs—especially the opportunity to enrich detection and response workflows with identity data.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder alignment skills, including working with engineering, marketing, field teams, and customers.
  • Proven track record of cultivating ecosystem partnerships that accelerate innovation and reach.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing and mentoring product management teams.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working at a high-growth SaaS company.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$191,200 - $273,200 - $355,200

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
