Who will you be working with?

You will be supporting our production and customer service team by ensuring the efficient and accurate dispatch of goods, with a strong emphasis on forklift operation, loading/unloading, and inventory handling. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment and a current forklift license.

What will your typical day look like?

Forklift Operation & Material Handling

• Operate forklifts (counterbalance and/or high-reach) to load and unload radiators and components.
• Safely move finished goods from production to dispatch areas.
• Load trucks and containers according to delivery schedules and load plans.
• Unload incoming deliveries and verify against purchase orders.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and report any forklift faults or hazards.

Dispatch & Logistics

• Prepare goods for shipment, including wrapping, strapping, and labeling.
• Coordinate with transport providers and or the dispatch clerk for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Complete dispatch paperwork and update systems with shipment details.
• Ensure all outgoing goods meet quality and packaging standards.

Inventory & Warehouse Duties

• Assist with stock take and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements.
• Maintain and service the Wastewater Treatment Plant to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Keep dispatch and warehouse areas clean, organised, and hazard-free.

Teamwork & Communication

• Liaise with production, sales, and clerical teams to prioritise urgent orders.
• Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or delays to supervisors promptly.
• Support other warehouse or production tasks as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid forklift license (LF) – essential.
• Proven experience in a dispatch or warehouse role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of safe loading/unloading practices.
• Ability to read and interpret dispatch documents and delivery dockets.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory systems.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Desirable:

• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Familiarity with radiator or automotive parts handling.
