Job Summary

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Driver responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, goods, or equipment to designated locations. This role demands a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism, alongside excellent knowledge of routes, traffic laws, and vehicle maintenance. The driver will operate company vehicles, plan routes, inspect vehicles daily, maintain logs, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Must Have

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport passengers, goods, or materials
  • Plan routes and follow time schedules for timely delivery or pickup
  • Inspect vehicles daily before and after trips; report maintenance or safety issues
  • Load and unload cargo or assist passengers as needed
  • Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation
  • Follow all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company driving policies
  • Keep vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients
  • Handle unexpected delays or route changes calmly and efficiently
  • Valid driver’s license (appropriate class for vehicle type)
  • Clean driving record with minimal or no traffic violations
  • Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning software
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (if transporting goods)
  • Experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation services
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for handling minor vehicle issues
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Good vision and hearing

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport passengers, goods, or materials according to schedule.
  • Plan routes and follow time schedules to ensure timely delivery or pickup.
  • Inspect vehicles daily before and after trips; report maintenance or safety issues immediately.
  • Load and unload cargo or assist passengers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation.
  • Follow all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company driving policies.
