Job Summary

As the Distribution General Manager at Trek's flagship distribution center in Johnson Creek, WI, you will oversee all warehouse operations. This includes P&L ownership, ensuring safety, developing the team, and managing carrier relationships. This high-impact leadership role involves shaping culture, driving performance, and ensuring the efficient delivery of bikes to customers globally. You will lead a team of 80+ employees, including managers and team leads, across a 250,000 sq. ft. facility.

Must Have

  • Strong background in LMS systems
  • Experience with full P&L responsibility and volume forecasting
  • Deep understanding of Lean methodologies
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of LTL and parcel shipping industries

Job Description

As the Distribution General Manager, you’ll lead operations at our flagship distribution center in Johnson Creek, WI. You’ll be responsible for the full scope of warehouse operations—from P&L ownership and safety to team development and carrier relationships. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape culture, drive performance, and help deliver the best bikes in the world to customers everywhere.

Facility Size: 250,000 sq. ft.

Reports to: Director of Distribution and Delivery

Team: 80+ employees, including 3 Operations Managers, 6 Team Leads, and an Assistant GM

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage site-level P&L and operational performance
  • Lead and inspire a team of salaried and hourly employees across multiple departments
  • Exceed KPIs in service, cost, safety, quality, and team culture
  • Champion a safety-first mindset and implement best-in-class protocols
  • Foster a customer-first culture across all operations
  • Drive hiring, training, and retention strategies that build a high-performing team
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Lead with a continuous improvement mindset using Lean principles
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and operational integrity
  • Coach and develop leaders to grow within the organization

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution center leadership
  • Proven success managing both hourly and salaried teams
  • Strong background in:
  • ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle, Blue Yonder, SAP)
  • TMS systems (e.g., Proship, E2Open, 3G)
  • LMS systems (e.g., Easy Metrics, TZA)
  • Experience with full P&L responsibility and volume forecasting
  • Deep understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of LTL and parcel shipping industries
  • High energy, strong communication skills, and a passion for developing people
