Job Summary

As an Electronic Technician, you will join the Electronics department, which is Europe's largest service center for electronic components of industrial vehicles. Your main responsibilities include analyzing, repairing, and testing electronic parts like circuit boards, controls, and displays at the component level. You will also document issues, create electrical diagrams via reverse engineering, develop test setups for forklift parts, and provide technical support to customers and colleagues. You are expected to stay updated on industry evolutions and assigned forklift brands.

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of analog and digital electronics
  • Knowledge of power electronics
  • Excellent command of Dutch (spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong technical insight
  • Team player

Job Description

Your role and responsibilities

The colleagues of the Electronics department are looking for reinforcements! Working for our Electronics department means working for the largest, best-equipped, and most diverse service center for electronic components of all types of electric industrial vehicles in Europe.

As an Electronic Technician, you are responsible for analyzing and repairing electronic components at the component level. Your responsibilities include:

  • You analyze customer inquiries regarding the repair of electronic components or warranty requests for parts.
  • You are responsible for the repair of circuit boards, controls, drive switches, displays... You determine the most efficient approach to repair yourself. You determine how much time and which parts are needed.
  • You test the component before and after repair and determine which test setup is necessary.
  • You document the problems found and draw up electrical diagrams via reverse engineering.
  • You develop test setups for electronic forklift parts.
  • You help customers and colleagues with their technical, electronics-related questions.
  • You closely follow the evolutions within your domain and your assigned forklift brands.

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Electronics or equivalent through experience;
  • You have knowledge of both analog and digital electronics, as well as power electronics;
  • You speak and write excellent Dutch and have a good knowledge of English;
  • You are problem-solving oriented with strong technical insight;
  • You are a true team player.
