Technical incoming inspection-3

For the Goods-In Receiving department in Waregem, we are looking for a Technical Incoming Inspection Employee. In the logistics department, you will help with the correct unpacking and inspection of incoming (technical) parts. Your tasks include unpacking and quality/quantity control of parts, measuring them with appropriate equipment, comparing with technical data sheets, classifying parts, contacting purchasing for information, and creating complaint forms for issues. You will maintain an orderly workspace.

Must Have

• Unpack incoming parts from suppliers and check for quality and quantity.
• Measure parts with appropriate equipment (wire gauge, caliper, tape measure).
• Call up technical data sheets in the system and compare with the unpacked part.
• Classify parts into the correct product group and link to a TVH specification number.
• Contact the purchasing department for additional technical information.
• Draw up complaint forms (NCF) in case of problems.
• Maintain an orderly and tidy workspace.
• Basic knowledge of or strong interest in technical parts (via studies or experience).
• Learns new information quickly and willing to learn about technical parts.
• Persistent.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
• Computer literate and administratively inclined.
• Good physical condition (e.g., lifting/carrying large parts).
• Strong concentration ability.
• Accurate, orderly, and reliable.

Your profile

• You have a basic knowledge of or strong interest in technical parts, acquired through studies (e.g., TSO or BSO car mechanics, mechanics, electromechanics, ...) AND/OR you have this knowledge through your own experience (tinkering with technical parts).
• You learn new information quickly, you have the will to learn the knowledge of technical parts, and you are persistent.
• You have knowledge of Dutch.
• You are computer literate and administratively inclined.
• You have good physical condition (e.g., lifting/carrying large parts).
• You have a strong concentration ability.
• You are accurate, orderly, and reliable.
• You will work in a flexible schedule.
