Job Summary

As an Email Marketing Intern at Miniclip, you will be instrumental in building and engaging a global player base through effective email campaigns. You will work closely with Growth and Product teams to shape email strategy, create personalized campaigns, monitor deliverability, and optimize performance to drive player engagement, retention, and monetization. This role involves crafting compelling messages, analyzing player behavior, and directly impacting revenue through email.

Must Have

  • Assist in planning, building, and executing email campaigns
  • Create and edit email content, subject lines, pre-headers, and copy
  • Segment audiences using player data
  • Set up A/B tests and analyze campaign performance

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

As an Email Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in building and engaging our global player base through highly effective email campaigns. If you love crafting compelling messages, analyzing player behavior, and seeing direct impact on retention and revenue through email, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Working closely with the Growth and Product teams, you will help shape the email strategy for our portfolio of games, create personalized and segmented campaigns, monitor and improve deliverability and continuously optimize performance to drive player engagement, retention, and monetization:

  • Assist in planning, building, and executing email campaigns (newsletters, promotional, lifecycle, re-engagement, transactional, etc.) for multiple games
  • Create and edit email content, subject lines, pre-headers, and copy that resonate with players
  • Segment audiences using player data (behavior, demographics, lifecycle stage, etc.)
  • Set up A/B tests and analyze campaign performance (open rates, click rates, conversions, revenue impact, unsubscribe rates)
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce on-brand visuals and assets for emails
  • Maintain email calendars and ensure timely delivery of campaigns
  • Monitor deliverability, spam complaints, and list health
  • Report on key email metrics and provide insights in collaboration with Business Intelligence and CRM teams
  • Conduct research on email marketing best practices, trends in mobile gaming, and competitor analysis

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent written English communication skills (native or bilingual proficiency preferred)
  • Strong interest in or basic knowledge of email marketing and CRM
  • Analytical mindset – comfortable working with data and drawing actionable insights
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms is a strong plus
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates
  • Experience with design tools (Photoshop, Figma, Canva) or copywriting is an advantage
  • Highly organized with proven multitasking abilities
  • Proactive attitude – eager to suggest new campaign ideas, tests, or improvements
  • Passion for games and understanding of player motivations
