Job Summary
NXP's Security & Connectivity business unit offers best-in-class solutions for mobile and IoT. This intern role is within the Microcontroller Systems Engineering Team in Guadalajara, Mexico, supporting connectivity and application-specific functions like voice, audio, graphics, and wireless connectivity. The intern will report to the MCU Systems Manager and provide technical support for activities such as energy consumption characterization, demo development, debugging, and customer support.
Must Have
- Must be enrolled in a Local university with NXP partnership studying Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Good to Have
- Embedded systems development working with C/C++, Python
- Bluetooth Low energy / WIFI
- Hardware, schematic review, power debugging

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
You will report to the MCU Systems Mgr. in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. Working as a Technical engineering Intern. your primary role is to provide support to NXP Engineers on many activities such as: energy consumption characterization, demo development, debugging & customer support activities
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Must be enrolled in a Local university with NXP partnership studying Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience and proficiency in the following areas desirable:
- Embedded systems development working with C/C++, Python
- Bluetooth Low energy / WIFI
- Hardware, schematic review, power debugging
