Engineering Manager

King is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Game Service Platform - Framework team. This role involves leading a talented team responsible for developing and maintaining the foundational Java framework for King's mobile games like Candy Crush Saga. The manager will inspire and empower team members, foster collaboration, define roadmaps, and ensure timely delivery of platform solutions, balancing technical excellence with product value. Strong leadership, software engineering experience, and product management skills are essential.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to shape the future of King’s Game Service Platform - Framework team that provides the unshakeable foundation for all Java development at King and supports some of the most popular mobile games in the world such as Candy Crush Saga.

More specifically, the Framework team curates and integrates the best available backend technologies, augmenting them with custom components when necessary, to deliver a standard, reliable, and secure framework. By abstracting complexity and embedding security, performance, stability, and operability, the team empowers developers to build and integrate operable services efficiently—reducing cognitive load and operational burden.
