Job Summary
Join Susurros del Corazón in Punta de Mita, Mexico, as an Engineering Supervisor, reporting to the Assistant Director of Engineering. You will be responsible for protecting the brand and asset, ensuring guest satisfaction, and managing preventive maintenance, new projects, and renovations with minimal guest impact. Key duties include monitoring energy usage, supporting sustainability programs, and actively participating in the Engineering leadership team and hotel operations.
Must Have
- Ensure brand and asset protection, guaranteeing guest satisfaction.
- Plan and manage preventive maintenance, new projects, expansions, and renovations with minimal guest impact.
- Comply with annual preventive and predictive maintenance plan procedures and policies.
- Continuously monitor responsible energy, water, and sewage use to implement cost-saving measures.
- Support energy conservation or sustainability programs to achieve financial and sustainability goals.
- Actively participate as a member of the Hotel Engineering department's leadership team.
- Create professional relationships and active participation in all hotel operations, including daily and weekly management meetings.
- Two years of operational experience in a hotel engineering department or closely related industry.
- Previous experience as Supervisor or equivalent.
- Familiarity with operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments.
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to apply them in a dynamic environment.
- Confidence and ability to perform under pressure.

Job Description
Become one of the authors of our story. Join our team as Engineering Supervisor at Susurros del Corazón in Punta de Mita Mexico, reporting to the Assistant Director of Engineering. You will be responsible for elevating the Susurros de Corazón brand through the lens of culinary experiences. The execution of your duties will ensure that the highest service standards are met and that the guest experience exceeds expectations.

- Ensure that the brand and asset are protected, ensuring that all guests are surprised and enjoy their experience on the property.
- Plan and manage all preventive maintenance work, new projects, expansions, and renovations in a way that affects the guest experience as little as possible.
- Comply with the procedures and policies of the annual preventive and predictive maintenance plan.
- Continuously monitor the responsible use of energy, water, and sewage in the hotel to implement measures that result in savings in energy costs.
- Support the energy conservation or sustainability program that allows the hotel to achieve its annual financial objectives and the goals of the annual sustainability plan.
- Work as an active member of the Hotel Engineering department's leadership team. Create professional relationships and active participation in all hotel operations, including, but not limited to; daily and weekly management meetings.
Requirements
- Preferably, two years of operational experience in the engineering department of a hotel or closely related industry. Previous experience as Supervisor or equivalent.
- Must be familiar with the operations and priorities of all other operating departments of the hotel.
- Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to apply them in a dynamic environment.
- Confidence and ability to perform under pressure.
