Job Summary

Join Susurros del Corazón as an Engineer I, reporting to the Engineering Supervisor. This role is responsible for all engineering maintenance operations and activities for the property's indoor/outdoor facilities, including plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structures, recycling, electricity, MEP area care, and parking areas. The Engineer I also manages safety/fire systems, power systems, sustainability initiatives, and other engineering tasks to maintain the property's efficiency, ensuring guest and employee safety and comfort.

Must Have

  • Ensure brand and asset protection, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Execute preventive maintenance, new projects, expansions, and renovations with minimal guest impact.
  • Comply with annual preventive and predictive maintenance plan procedures and policies.
  • Continuously monitor responsible use of energy, water, and sewage.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, overseeing their work for quality and contract compliance.
  • Two years of operational experience in hotel engineering or related industry.
  • Familiarity with operations and priorities of other hotel departments.
  • Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and lift, push, pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to apply them in a dynamic environment.
  • Confidence and ability to perform under pressure.

They are also responsible for safety/fire systems, power systems/sustainability initiatives, and the management of other engineering work necessary to maintain the property in efficient conditions to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and employees.* Ensure that the brand and asset are protected, ensuring that all guests are surprised and enjoy their experience at the property.* Execute all preventive maintenance work, new projects, expansions, and renovations in a way that affects the guest experience as little as possible.* Comply with the procedures and policies of the annual preventive and predictive maintenance plan.* Continuously monitor the responsible use of energy, water, sewage.* Establish relationships and work closely with suppliers, supervising their work to ensure that the quality and delivery of services are in accordance with the contract or contracted service.# Qualifications● Preferably, two years of operational experience in the engineering department of a hotel or closely related industry.● Must be familiar with the operations and priorities of all other operational hotel departments.● Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.● Excellent communication skills.● Strong leadership skills and the ability to apply them in a dynamic environment.● Confidence and ability to perform under pressure.# Additional InformationAuberge Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences, and private clubs.
