As an Environment Surfacing Artist at DNEG, you'll create unique CG environment surfacing and grooming using reference material. Responsibilities include submitting work to dailies, attending production reviews, addressing feedback, quality checking, and adhering to DNEG protocols. You'll collaborate with leads and supervisors, ensuring asset quality and technical viability. The role demands proficiency in software like Mari (preferred), Substance, Photoshop, or BodyPaint 3D, and experience with ray-tracing software such as RenderMan or Arnold. A strong understanding of color, texture, and grooming tools is crucial. Experience in feature animation and a demo reel showcasing your skills are essential.
