Esports Manager (World of Tanks Blitz)

WoT Blitz, an online mobile shooter, is seeking an Esports Manager to join their team. The role involves managing the esports community, organizing tournaments and seasonal events, and other competitive activities globally. The mission is to grow and engage the community, foster a fair and exciting competitive environment, and shape the future of Blitz esports.

Must Have

• Communicate with highly active and skilled community members
• Gather and analyze player feedback to improve the game
• Create and manage tournaments and skill-based in-game activities
• Coordinate in-game and publishing initiatives for monetization, retention, and media reach
• Analyze performance metrics to assess product perception and identify growth opportunities
• Fluency in English (C1 level oral and written)
• At least 1.5+ years experience as a community manager, esports manager or project manager
• Understand core principles of tournament systems and have a strong sense of fair play
• Enthusiasm and experience in gaming
• Excellent communication skills
• Project management skills
• Analytical mind

Good to Have

• Gaming experience in Wargaming titles
• Proficiency with community platforms like Discord (including moderation tools, bots, and server management) and other social/communication platforms

What will you do?

• Communication with highly active and skilled community members: gather and analyze player feedback to help improve the game, ensuring clear information flow, strong engagement, and lasting brand loyalty
• Creation and management of tournaments and other skill-based in-game activities: plan, organize, and oversee competitive events that highlight player mastery and drive community excitement
• In-game and publishing activities management: from concept to execution, coordinate initiatives that enhance in-game monetization, player retention, and media reach
• Analytics: dive deep into performance metrics to assess product perception and identify opportunities for growth

What are we looking for?

• Fluency in English: C1 level in both oral and written communication
• Experience: bring at least 1.5+ years as a community manager, esports manager or project manager
• Competition: you understand the core principles of tournament systems and have a strong sense of fair play
• Gaming passion: your enthusiasm and experience in gaming are crucial
• Communication mastery: your excellent communication skills will be put to great use
• Project management: your skills in managing projects will be key
• Analytic mind: your ability to analyze will guide us forward

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Gaming experience in Wargaming titles is a significant advantage
• Proficiency with community platforms: strong working knowledge of Discord (including moderation tools, bots, and server management) and other social or communication platforms commonly used in gaming communities

Work mode

• Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
