Job Summary

The Executive - Operations is a hybrid role responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery and handling of forex products, currency, and remittances. This includes delivering currency notes, prepaid/refillable cards, and remittance documents to clients, accurately processing forex transactions at the branch, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The role combines operational execution, cash handling, and customer service excellence while safeguarding financial products and maintaining data integrity.

Must Have

  • Manage the secure and timely delivery of currency notes, prepaid/refillable cards, remittance documents, and related products to clients at designated locations
  • Accurately process forex transactions, including buying/selling currency, issuing travel cards, and handling remittances
  • Verify client identity and collect required documentation or acknowledgments
  • Provide professional and courteous service, address queries promptly, and escalate grievances or delivery/transaction issues
  • Maintain accurate cash balances and perform daily reconciliation of tills and forex inventory
  • Handle cash safely and record all transactions in the company’s forex software
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies
  • Follow KYC/AML procedures, RBI/central bank guidelines, and internal policies
  • Identify and report suspicious activity
  • Adhere to strict security protocols during product delivery
  • Comply with road safety and operational regulations
  • Plan efficient delivery routes and maintain accurate logs of deliveries and transactions
  • Provide feedback to improve workflows
  • Coordinate closely with branch, logistics, and back-office teams

Good to Have

  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or relevant field preferred
  • Degree in Finance/Commerce is a plus
  • Experience in product delivery or logistics is a plus

This includes delivering currency notes, prepaid/refillable cards, and remittance documents to clients, accurately processing forex transactions at the branch, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The role combines operational execution, cash handling, and customer service excellence while safeguarding financial products and maintaining data integrity.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the secure and timely delivery of currency notes, prepaid/refillable cards, remittance documents, and related products to clients at designated locations, while accurately processing forex transactions, including buying/selling currency, issuing travel cards, and handling remittances
  • Verify client identity, collect required documentation or acknowledgments, provide professional and courteous service, address queries promptly, and escalate any grievances or delivery/transaction issues to the branch or operations team

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+2; Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or relevant field preferred. Degree in Finance/Commerce is a plus
  • 1-2 years in cash handling, teller, or forex operations; experience in product delivery or logistics is a plus
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of forex products, exchange rates, KYC/AML compliance, and regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to plan efficient delivery routes and optimize operational workflows
  • Proficiency in fintech, remittance software, and MS Office/Excel for transaction logging and reporting
  • High integrity and trustworthiness when handling cash and sensitive financial products
  • Reliable, customer-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Professional demeanor and high attention to detail
