Job Description

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for Philips' products and services, specifically MRI and CT modalities, at customer locations. This role involves diagnosing malfunctions, performing maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and installations. Key responsibilities include customer relationship management, assisting with service repairs and preventative maintenance, and resolving customer issues. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a relevant engineering field, at least 3 years of experience in MRI/CT repair and troubleshooting, and strong English and MS Office skills. This is a full-time field role based in Dubai.
Must have:
  • Address technical needs of customers and provide maintenance to products and services.
  • Diagnose product malfunctions, perform proactive and predictive maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and installations.
  • Address customer escalations, complaints, and feedback, coordinating action plans.
  • Execute complex service tasks in the field using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Manage customer relationships through technical knowledge for installation, service, and maintenance.
  • Assist in service repair, preventative maintenance, and field change orders/installations.
  • Identify and solve customer issues, providing appropriate communication and involving relevant teams.
  • Operate under required knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Support MRI & CT modalities as a team member of the Service delivery team.
  • University degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, or relevant engineering major.
  • Previous hands-on experience servicing medical or high technology equipment.
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated repair and troubleshooting skills with MRI/CT experience.
  • Good command of English written and spoken.
  • Good command of MS Office programs.
  • No restriction for travelling.

Job Description

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for addressing the technical needs of organization’s customers, providing maintenance to products and services, working under general supervision. The role demonstrates technical proficiency across a wide range of capabilities, encompassing product malfunction diagnosis, proactive and predictive maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and installations, with the flexibility to provide these services at customer locations. The role takes an active role in addressing customer escalations, complaints (both safety and non-safety related), and feedback, coordinating the implementation of associated action plans. The role executes complex service tasks in the field following established procedures, utilizing diagnostic tools, and troubleshooting techniques to efficiently resolve customer concerns.

Your role:

  • Customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, service, and maintain customer sites.
  • Assisting in service repair, preventative maintenance, field change orders / installations.
  • Identifying and solving customer issues, providing the customer with the appropriate communication, and involving Service and Sales teams as appropriate.
  • Operating under required knowledge of regulatory requirement.

As a Field Service engineer you will be supporting MRI & CT modalities, work as a team member of Service delivery team and reporting to Service Delivery Manager.

You're the right fit if:

  • University degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, degree, or any other relevant engineering major.
  • Previous hands-on experience servicing medical or other high technology equipment.
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated, repair and troubleshooting skills with experience in MRI / CT
  • Good command of English written and spoken
  • Good command of MS Office programs
  • No restriction for travelling.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
