Job Description

Our Fleet Support Team needs highly adaptive, motivated, and knowledgeable technical specialists to solve complex problems within customer and internal fleets. This role involves troubleshooting aircraft and system problems remotely, providing written instructions, and responding to unpredictable customer and Field Service Representative needs. Some travel is required. Product improvement opportunities will be coordinated with the Engineering team. The role also includes site survey and installation opportunities, and maintaining Air Vehicle Operator certification to assist other operators or fill in as flight crew.
Good To Have:
  • Experience leading technical troubleshooting efforts
  • Avionics or Electronics repair/troubleshooting experience
  • Internal Combustion Engine repair experience/Engine Performance knowledge
  • Prior UAS land and maritime-based site planning and installation experience
  • FAA Ratings (Part 107/Private Pilot/Commercial/Instrument/CFI)
  • A&P certified
Must Have:
  • Ability to work independently and lead in a small team environment, often in austere locations, while delighting the customer
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening in accordance with company policy
  • Ability to pass medical and dental screenings as required by customers
  • Ability to possess a Secret DoD security clearance as required by customers
  • Troubleshooting/Maintainer/Mechanical Experience
  • Ability to acquire and maintain Shield AI Air Vehicle Operator Certification

Our Fleet Support Team needs highly adaptive, motivated, and knowledgeable technical specialists to solve complex problems within customer and internal fleets. No two days will be the same, so this person must thrive in uncertain and challenging situations. Daily duties will include troubleshooting aircraft and system problems remotely, providing written instructions, and being responsive to unpredictable customer and Field Service Representative needs. Some travel will be required to bring solutions to the customer directly. Product improvement opportunities will be captured and coordinated with the Engineering team to improve the operator experience and our products through the course of resolving issues experienced in the field.

In addition to being the internal and external fleet's first point of contact for technical support, there will also be site survey and installation opportunities to ensure each of our operational sites are set up for success. All members of the Fleet Support team maintain Air Vehicle Operator certification to be able to be proficient in assisting other operators, and to fill in as flight crew if required.

What You'll Do:

  • Technical Support Requests
  • Site/Ship Surveys
  • Site/Ship Installations
  • Coordinate with Engineering on improving our products and developing troubleshooting guides
  • Assist Engineering in performing product testing

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and lead in a small team environment, often in austere locations, while delighting the customer
