Arduino is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to enhance its application ecosystem. This role involves contributing to all stages of product development and deployment, building and maintaining web applications and services using state-of-the-art technologies. The engineer will collaborate with Software Architects and UI/UX specialists to define technical solutions, improve user experience, and deliver value within a cross-functional team. Must Have

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Java, Python
  • Experience with React, REST API, and back-end applications
  • Ability to contribute to all stages of product development
  • Skilled in building and maintaining web applications and services
  • Collaborate with architects and UI/UX specialists
  • Fluent in English

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with npm package bundling/releasing
  • Experience with Typescript and the related tooling ecosystem
  • Experience with AWS and serverless computing
  • Experience in the IoT field or with IoT protocols
  • Experience with Golang
  • Deep understanding of security and performance optimization concepts
  • Knowledge of Arduino or similar electronics

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

What you'll work on

You will be part of a team of talented engineers in charge of developing and maintaining a microservice architecture. As part of this job you will

  • Contribute to all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle, building and maintaining web applications and services using state-of-the-art technologies
  • Collaborate with Software Architects and UI/UX specialists to define technical solutions and improving User Experience across all the Arduino applications
  • Deliver value through a strong collaborative approach working in a cross-functional team, contributing finding creative solutions to enhance Arduino applications and tools.
  • Bring your experience to guide all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle, performing technical analysis, software design and implementation.

What you bring

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or other technical related fields
  • Software development work experience (4+ years)
  • Experience with React
  • High motivation and interest in pushing the boundaries of current technologies.
  • Experience with REST API and back-end applications
