Job Description

The Special Operations Accounts, Workflows & Tools (SWT) Team at Netflix is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer (L5) to architect and build critical internal tooling. This role involves designing scalable, resilient applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and developing GraphQL and BFFs for Netflix's Consumer Identity Platform. The engineer will take full ownership of technical projects from conception to production, impacting developer experience, observability, and self-service capabilities. Collaboration with cross-functional partners and mentoring early-career engineers are also key aspects of this high-impact role within a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

  • Comfortable working across the full stack, integrating frontend applications with APIs and cloud services.
  • Excellent communicator, able to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate with partners and stakeholders.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong full stack Software Engineer (L5) to join the SWT team. What You’ll Do

  • Architect, build, and operate full-stack internal tooling and platform & observability solutions as part of the Consumer Identity Platform.
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient internal applications and dashboards using React and related technologies.
  • Develop and maintain GraphQL and BFFs that power internal tools.
  • Take full ownership of technical projects, driving them from conception to production, across both frontend and API integration domains.
  • Mentor early-career engineers through code reviews, design sessions, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
  • Engage regularly with cross-functional partners and stakeholders, communicating complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and high-impact delivery.
