Job Description

MY.GAMES is seeking a Game Designer to join their remote team. This role involves identifying and solving problems related to game feel, fine-tuning pacing and combat, enhancing visual and audio impact, and balancing readability in large-scale battles. The designer will align feedback across various elements, design user flows, gather player feedback, and ensure consistency across new features, ultimately polishing the user experience.
Must Have:
  • 1+ year of experience as a game designer
  • Hands-on experience with Unity
  • Desire to work on a growing F2P game in the Rush Royale / Clash Royale genre
  • Broad gaming background, from old-school titles to modern mobile games

##### What you’ll do:

  • Identify problems and growth points in the game’s feeling: PvP flow, clear and pleasant visual cues and UI, combat rhythm, post-battle experience, etc
  • Fine-tune pacing, timings, and battle start to make combat feel dynamic and responsive
  • Work on impact: hits, ability use, damage visualization, unit deaths — making every action clear and spectacular
  • Balance readability: ensure that even in large-scale battles, bright visual and audio cues remain clear and informative
  • Align feedback across animations, VFX, sound, and vibrations so everything feels cohesive
  • Design and test user flows so players intuitively understand what’s happening without being overloaded with hints
  • Gather qualitative feedback on player experience and suggest concrete improvements
  • Keep new features in every patch consistent: unified readability, predictability, and aesthetics across all systems
  • Run playtests and polish UX so players can easily grasp what’s happening on the battlefield

##### What you need to succeed:

  • 1+ year of experience as a game designer
  • Hands-on experience with Unity
  • Desire to work on a growing F2P game in the Rush Royale / Clash Royale genre
  • Broad gaming background, from old-school titles to modern mobile games (especially Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, Hearthstone, and auto-battlers)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, communication skills, and ability to work well in a team
