Game Localization Language Specialist (Japanese)

Responsible for the localization quality control of overseas games, including translation, proofreading, revision, and LQA, ensuring the final quality of localization. This role involves developing and implementing localization quality management rules and improvement plans for each game project, promoting the creation of style guides, and streamlining the overall localization process. The specialist will also standardize the use of AIGC within the team by building and defining AIGC-related localization instructions and norms, and handle other language-related tasks.

Must Have

• Native Japanese speaker, proficient in Chinese
• Game enthusiast familiar with diverse game genres
• 3+ years of experience in game localization translation or game world creation
• Proficiency in at least one CAT tool
• Excellent communication skills, proactive, and resilient to pressure

Good to Have

• Experience in literary creation

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the localization quality control of overseas games (including translation, proofreading, revision, and LQA), and responsible for the final quality of localization.

2. Propose localization quality management rules, improvement measures, and plans for each game project, promote the creation of style guides, and improve the efficiency of the entire localization process.

3. Responsible for building AIGC-related localization instructions and formulating norms, standardizing the use of AIGC across the team.

4. Other language-related tasks.
