Role Summary
The Game Owner (GO) is responsible for leading the overall strategic direction, roadmap, and performance for Board Kings studio. Acting as the central point of accountability, the Game Owner collaborates with cross-functional teams—such as product, design, development, marketing, analytics, and monetization—to ensure the game's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the vision, strategy, and KPIs for the game.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team (PMs, designers, developers, analysts) to execute on product roadmaps.
- Prioritize and manage the game backlog to align with business objectives.
- Monitor game performance metrics (retention, monetization, engagement) and identify areas for improvement.
- Champion player experience by incorporating feedback into feature development.
- Present performance updates and roadmap plans to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor games, and innovation opportunities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Monetization, product or game management, ideally in F2P mobile or social games.
- Strong understanding of game KPIs and live ops mechanics.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Data-driven decision-making skills; comfortable with analytics tools (Tableau, SQL, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Passion for games and a deep understanding of player motivation.
